Claimant says:
"I was traveling on I-40 south of Dickson, Tn. in my Ford F-150 {2006} pulling my 32' travel trailer when one of the cylinders started misfiring so I pulled into Beaman Ford to have it checked out. I was told one of the plugs needed to be replaced. I dropped the trailer and pulled it into the shop. Note: I have Iowa license plates, passing thru. Within 40 minutes a woman came and said my truck was ready. I ask how much and was told $426.55. I said that is pretty expensive isn't it ? I pay the bill, hook up the trailer, get back on the interstate and continued to my destination which was La Follette, Tn. Several miles down the road I start up a rather big hill and I start getting the same thing the miss fire and shortage of power. I baby it along and reach my destination. {that was 5/25/16} On {6/22/16} I had to take truck to Short-Redmond Ford. They diagnosed more misfiring of plugs to include # 7 that Beaman Ford replaced. When they were finished I was handed a bill for $977.98 . Upon talking with the service manager he saw Beaman's bill and said they flat plain ripped you off. Double the amount of what it should have cost to the MAXIMUM. I was in the process of buying a new Ford Edge from either Ford dealership. Yes I FEEL VERY MUCH RIPPED OFF. I have Purple Heart license plates to show that I gave a lot to this country, I don't ask to get things free....JUST TREAT ME RIGHT."
