"Jim Paradise is running his two renaissance festivals like scams to be as profitable as possible with little or no regard for the people that do the work. The artists themselves make the fair beautiful and wonderful by building and maintaining the sales booths, decoration and display, and dedicating ourselves to being the finest artisans in the land. I have been a private contractor with Jim's renaissance festivals for over 45 years. I feel i was targeted by he and the tax agent, sullying my reputaion within the renaissance festival community with ruinous implication and destroying my livelihood with blacklist style gossip. Based on pure implication he cancelled all future contracts with me , sold my booths kept the money, and impressed upon his office staff to spread the bad word about me."
