Randy B. says: My 2012 f150 acted like what a recall was for, It suddenly shifted from third to first. I had made a prior appointment for the recall but the Covid hit and things pretty much stopped. Then it happened and the truck was towed to Beaman Ford for repair. Rick from the service department stated that what happened was not from the recall and they could not find a reason for the problem. He stated they made the recall fix, stated they “ drove the heck out of it. I left with the truck and had the same issues. I called back 2 different time and left messages. On this Monday I got through and they made an appointment for Thursday 1/13/22 @ 0915. When I arrived I was told that I could leave the truck and it will be looked at Monday. Why did I drive an hour for someone to tell me this. I should have been notified and asked to bring the truck in on Monday for the fix. I was told the appointment was with an advisor, how about a phone call. I did not need an advisor. Totally asinine and true disregard for loyal Ford buyers.
