Statement of Claim
Claimant says:
"This store did not honor the contract for sale of a pair of Huntington House chairs, and a third Pottery Barn chair that I put on consignment with them.
They sold the matching pair for the price of ONE.  And they never have paid me for selling the third chair.
I have tried to reason with the owner, but she is not responding favorably, rather casting me as a troublemaker.
This business is unreliable, if not downright fraudulent.

  • I’m very sorry that you feel miss treated or that you feel that our company and store is that of less to your standards. We have done everything humanly possibly to take care of this matter. Instead you confess to downgrade us, manipulate the the situation and that is not what we are here to do ,nor do we stand for that. We paid you on your items that sold in the allocated time that your contract allowed. 90 days after an item sells, consignors items are considered expired, based on the contract that they signed. If your item was sold within the 90 days, I will have the store manager check the records and act accordingly to get this matter resolved

Bizarre response doesn't explain what Another Man's Treasure did with the two chairs that the customer didn't receive payment for.
