Statement of Claim
Claimant says:
"was a victim of identity theft and i did get a identity theft report and police report and credit bureaus blocked barclay credit card and fraudulent charges from my credit reports, barclay banks have not an cannot produce any receipts of the fraudulent charges but won't zero out the debt.P

Barclay bank has done nothing I had to write to consumer finance with certified letter just to stop them from calling me with harassing collection phone calls several times a day so I mailed a certified letter to their billing dept. I have also sent a copy of my identity theft report and police report which is attached to each other and all three credit bureaus have blocked Barclay bank from appearing on reports do to the fraud but Barclay bank won't accept my identity theft and report nor can Barclay bank confirm or even show receipts or proof of any of the fraud charges they are billing me for and I have requested this proof since March and they have ignored me and finally in July send a letter and said the bulk of the charges they can send me any proof of the charges but they are stiff holding me responsible . As of today they are still charging me monthly late fees s interest and the charges are adding up . According to the federal trade commission once a charge is deemed fraud and blocked with s identity theft report police report s it's blocked from your credit report the creditor Barclay cannot try to collect or sell the debt but Barclay has ignored all laws . I have reported Barclay several times to consumer finance in Ny, Delaware, I complained to OCC, Federal Reserve , Better Business and they all said they will put a blog out about them but nothing has been done . Only experian has helped stop the fraud but even they it's been blocked o want these charges off these statements permanent . Barclay also tried to say I had two or three other accounts opened in which I never did and they never prices it either o showed them I was a victim of identity theft they could care less . If needed I can send you my identity theft report and police report or anything Else if needed if you think you can help let me know thanks George Geist"
