Claimant says:
"I rented an apartment from one of their employees and my hub got real sick had triple bypass on the 21st of march was in critical intensive care unit for 3 weeks and has been in and out of the hospital back and forth since he just got out 2 weeks agai. I rented the apartment for my granddaughter but in return she had to move back home to help take care of her granddaddy and me because I have breast cancer and we needed the help and she needed the job. She has her CNA and she had no choice and the employee told me over the phone that it was ok all she needed was for us to give her 1 month notice and I said ok the deposit was 1200 dollars and all I wanted back was 600 dollars and we agreed to that so when she went to check the apartment everything was good until we started to talk about the deposit and when we were going to get it. Then she said that we had to wait until she has the department rented then again being nice I told her ok. I waited for almost a month and I never heard any thing from her. I tried calling to speak to someone over and I couldn't get through. All I would get is a recording and right now I need my money but she is refusing to give it back and I dont know what i can do about it. My hubsand and I are senior citizens. Can she she get away with this? I know that I am not the only one she has done this to but I guess they just let it go how she 's treating people something needs to be done about how seniors are being treated."

  • i found an address and telephone number to the owner Laura Skiba her address is 10825 sw 66th ct ocala,fla 34476 352-873-2738. i could not find terence but there was terry and laura skiba at 11695 sw 56 ter ocala fla. 34476 352-236-6840 i don't know if this would help mycase or not but i hope so because i wouldn't like for another senior to be in the same place.

  • I would like what they owe me and i fell like it was a skam and they need to ay me the 607.00 or 1200.00 that was orginial owed I w3as just asking for the 600.00 because she old me that we had to give her a 30day notice so i SAID OKand then she csme up with the rent for thr 30 days that we had given her notice, then said that we wouldn't be getting anything back because we had used up the depositd at first she said that we didn't give her one so what do that make you think that she is trying to skam me or trying tomake a fool of me

  • igot a letter saying that tey are taking both months but this is not what sylvia told me so otherwise she told me wrong if they were to listen to the conversation on the phone they would see that she is wrong i hate for them to rell me one thing and do another is there someone out there for the elder why do people think that they can get oiver in the seniors

  • we talked to sylvia about my hubsand having a tripple by-pass and she told us what to do because my hubsand was in the V A hospital for several weeks and months because of complications with the surgery and he not expected to live and she mis the one that told us everything so i feel like sylvia is responsible for everything all she done was lied to us.Why? is it because i am a senior and my hubsand is a 2 time war veteran
