Statement of Claim
Claimant says:
"I received a call from them telling me I was approved for a unsecured loan I had since I have bad credit to send western union my money and I would be getting the loan, I got a email then next day saying i had bad credit they wanted more money, well i did not have that and even the amt i did have to send was more than i could afford to lose, i told the loan officer that i could not send anymore as i did not have it and that i wanted to cancel my loan request and get a refund, she told me it would be 30 days from the day i closed it. well 2 weeks later i called to see what was going on with my refund she would not answer, i did get client care person and he said it was not closed they were waiting for more money, i told him i had canceled with lauren and that i wanted my refund he told me 30 days from that day, i said no it has already been 2 weeks so i want someone to call me back within a week on my refund, now they don't even answer the phone or emails or even return my calls. I have reported them to the bbb, ftc and the attorney general of CA i don't know what else i can do. They have not even responded to the bbb. I want someone to help me get my money back or close this company they are frauds"

  • I was told to mail/call the Santa Clara County District Attorney Consumer Protection Unit/Small claims Advisory. Which I did talk to a lady throught them. She has told me that the address these people have on their website is not a accurate address as that address comes up for rent. She also called Bernthal Services to see about coming in for a loan and they told her you can only do this online, She also said they are probably not even here in the US which is so very unfortunate. I have started a online complaint and have had another person say they lost 456.00 also and that these people told her she needed to wire 200.00 to get her 456.00 back. I called today as 9-18-14 was my 30 business days form the date my loan was closed which was Aug 5th, Bunch of crap because I had told Lauren on July 23rd I wanted it closed. Well today they told me the same thing I needed to send in 200 to get my 456.00 back. I told them not so very nicely that they were thieves and that I was not sending any money to get my money back and that they had better wire me my money ASAP. now I am asking for help on how or who can shut down their website and get word out that these people are scumbags and thieves. Please let me know who can help me with this as I want to figure out how to sue their butts off and I am sure there are a lot of others in the same situation as me. Please let me know
