"Not responsible for Damage due to misuse???Was there a clear warning that you could DESTROY thousands of dollars worth of appliances. Used correctly? We followed every instruction. By a professional was the only statement that was true. I don't care if "Tom" used your product to correct the damage to our appliances, HE IS A PROFESSIONAL THAT CHARGED OUTRAGEOUS PRICES! You contributed $100 toward his original $400 price. We are willing to pay $100 for the mistake of using this horrid product. We had to pay $300 for this repair. We took that money out of our mortgage money and are feeling it. we are not being unreasonable to pay $100 for our mistake but we think you should pay the remaining $200. It does not cost $400 to travel from Long Island to NJ!!! I fully intend on taking this further if you do not agree to compensate us the $200. I will go to the BBB and also the Federal Trade Commission and my lawyer.
"As previously discussed, our kit has been proven to be an effective product when used correctly. Not only did you NOT stop using the product after not achieving the desired results on the 1st surface, but you continued onto another 2 appliances. I reached out to an associate and DID pay for a professional to travel to you to use the SAME kit to make desired repairs and you had agreed that we cover the cost of repair that you would cover the cost of travel. Cost of his travel is what you are disputing and that was what you had agreed that you would be responsible for to Tom, not us.We have made every effort to assist you, including paying for professional repair and yet you are disputing your end of responsibilities. #1: Our product is not only used but purchased by GE, Whirlpool, Thermador, Viking, Wolf and MORE and is the ONLY accepted process for Stainless Steel Restoration in the industry among the top manufactures. #2. It CLEARLY states on the box sleeve of the kit " Manufacturer is NOT responsible for damage resulting from misuse of the product". #3 You didn't stop after first appliance to get expert advise.#4 You're failing your agreement to pay Tom's invoice for trave"

When first posting this complaint, Barry called me and he was furious that I put the complaint in, in the first place. We paid $59.95 for the product to begin with. It was "supposed" to help us clear up scratches on 3 of our stainless steel appliances. It nearly destroyed them. The damage caused by the product was unbearable to look at. All the directions were followed to the letter. When I first complained Barry put me in touch with this Gentleman in L.I. We are in N.J.
The man told us that his price to do this would be $400.00 It was outrageous, but we were stuck. I entered the complaint and then Barry called and agreed to pY $100 toward the repair. When he got here he used either the same product or another very similar. BUT HE WAS A PROFESSIONAL! We had to come up with $300.00 cash to pay him the balance owed for the repair! We had to take it out of our mortgage money. Afterward, my husband said that he thought $100.00 paid by us for this repair was fair enough. He and I feel that Barry should reimburse us the additional $200. We are both on disability and that cost hurt our finances.
