Claimant says:
"This has been going on for quite awhile and it needs to stop. The gasoline station called Murphy's on 39100 Natchez Dr. gas pumps need to be fixed. I pull in, insert my debit card then get the order to select grade of gas and as I compress the nozzle the money numbers starts adding the amount but the gas is not dispensing into the tank. Hold your ear to the nozzle so you can hear when it starts pumping, by then I have racked up a charge that cannot be traced and it is in the whole amount. Last time it was $1.63 and is getting worse. I have tried other pumps at the same station and they are all set up to rip a customer off. Over a period of time this becomes a rather large amount going to Murphy USA. Most customers do not pay attention all they want is gasoline and be on their way. Time for a lawsuit.....BIG TIME $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$"

  • 4 months later it still continues and as I see it the only way that I accomplished anything was to stop spending money there and go someplace else which I have. The Shell station I go to charges you exactly when the pump starts and I DO NOT FEEL RIPPED OFF...........ALSO , I will never (if I can help it) go to any Murphy fuel station ever again.

  • I just received a phone call from Murphy Usa 6990 and was offered $10.00 in gasoline for my loss. WHAT ??? I lost a lot more than that over a period of time and that is not the issue. The big issue is this.......While Murphy Usa is dragging their feet look how many cars are pulling up to the gas pump filling up and how many are getting ripped off in the process. When you compress the nozzle gas should flow out exactly the same time as you are being charged in dollars and cents. I let Murphy Usa know that until they improve I would not remove my claim.
