Statement of Claim
Claimant says:
"I have ADT Alarm service for Four years. I have the glass break sensor, motion sensor on top of the window sensors. Last July  2017. A burglar forced his entry into our house and the alarm system did not work at all. The ADT alarm system is a a fake alarm. No signal nor anything was sent to the police station when the burglary happened. We called 911 and reported our broken glass door, when the police came in and that's the time when the alarm system send signal to the ADT hub/office ( entry detected)Too late now, when the burglar was in... the system did not work. Do they  have some conspiracy?
We are paying monthly service thinking this is a good alarm service. We filed a claim about this and the ADt alarm service denied our claim saying they are not an insurance company. The loss during this burglary is not there fault. They don't stand behind there product. Very bad service and this is a fake srvice. They are stealing your money on the monthly service and do not stand behind there product. We have proof but still they denied the  claims pertaining to the loss.

    ADT are quite right in saying that they do not supply insurance. Losses sustained in a burglary should be covered by home insurance, for which the claimant would get a reduction in premium for having an alarm fitted. I think the claimant's demands should be limited to the recovery of losses in paying for a service that didn't work and for the postage involved i.e. a total of $2030.99. However. it would look better for ADT if they also included an extra payment to cover the stress caused.
