Claimant says:
"I had auto loan with BB&T on a 2008 Ford Taurus Limited. My wife was in a car wreck that put her in ICU for 6days and a wheel chair following the accident for 3 months. Needless to say the Taurus was totaled due to the accident.

My insurance company and myself could not get a loan payoff for the car. We tried for over 2 months and 50 phone calls no one would give usl the payoff or return our calls to get the pay off.

BB&T waited 4 months to contact me about he remaining balance on the loan they said my gap insurance didn't cover because I had was a payment behind. I looked at my credit today saw where they had reported it on my credit as a charge off.

I am also reporting this to the bettter business bureau also.

My insurance agents name is Mark Fraisure if you need to contact him he is with Indiana farm bureau. 812-738-4151.

  • I would like to thank BB&T for offering to make write the wrong that we had experienced.

    I am waiting to see the changes that we have agreed upon.

    When that happens I will post again.

  • It is going on 3 years since I field this claim against BB&T still shows on all 3 of my credit bureau. I have been contacted one time by BB&T.
