Claimant says:
"I purchased a Groupon to have all four brakes redone. They did the brake job and the brakes work fine. But while my vehicle was in their care someone had opened the automatic back lift gate of vehicle and backed vehicle into something. they tried to repair it without my knowledge. Their was no reason for me to check lift gate since they should not have touched it. later that evening when I went to pull my golf clubs in back i pressed button on my key to open gate the gate closed striking me in my back. it was dark so I decided to wait and check it during the day. The was out of align opening and closing hard. I noticed new scratches on rear bumper and paint was disturbed on left bottom of gate. also the nuts on hinges were rounded off with grease on them and interior had grease smudges on it. i took it to Larry Miller Dodge in Peoria to get their opinion and they told me that it looked like vehicle was backed into something pushing gate out of line. Owner Brian denied doing damage and he walked me down to body shop Auto Renew who tried to repair. they were able to realign gate but there is still a problem with motor on gate. The gate will open, but as soon as it gets to the full it immediately closes. This means that motor or it mechanism is damaged. The body shop told me this is not the first time they had to do similar repairs for this company. i want gate repaired and areas scratched painted"

    Offer to fix the damage as needed, bill the companies insurance and take care of the client. Get this resolved and out of public view!

  • Client should provide documentation to prove the damage wasn't there before the service took place. Arizona tire, if the client's correct and the incident was hidden and attempted to fix. Own up to it and report it to your insurance company and get it fixed appropriately. This is something that can be resolved quickly. Let's make it happen!
