On or about September, 20, 2020, Complainants: my wife and I went to view an appointment at the address above. The Respondent told my wife and I that there were other people viewing the apartment. but he ask us to complete an application and that he would call us the following Tuesday or Wednesday. Instead he call us Saturday and said the apartment was taken. So my wife and I asked her Son's girlfriend, who is white, to call and inquire about the apartment. And my wife, Son girlfriend was told that the apartment was still available. So we File a discrimination Complaint with the Kentucky commission on human rights, charging the respondents with a violation of the Fair Housing Act, 804 (b) (c ) and the Kentucky Civil Rights Act KRS.344.360 because we were denied a housing opportunity because of our race, black. To Resolve this Matter, out of court; we would like a sign letter of an apology, from the Respondents, and housing costs including hotels fees, then we will withdraw the Complaint with the Kentucky commission on human rights, and that the Respondents in the future will change their policies and practices. For the damages done to us mentally and physically victimized us disappointed us made us Sad angry hurt and stressed as black people in this country we feel Mistreated, because we are black and to be denied a housing opportunity because of our race makes us feel frustrated.
