Statement of Claim
Claimant says:
"Stellantis N.V. the new company that was Fiat Chrysler Automobile LLC.
Is not honoring their 100,000 mile Lithium ion battery warranty. And the dealership Orange Coast Chrysler Jeep-Dodge Ram Fiat, will not disclose the information they found regarding the health of the battery. I may be partially at fault, but I believe the battery was also defective. The dealership said the battery had arced damaging the main battery. They said the company would probably buy back the car, because the battery was too expensive to replace ($27,000) more than the value of the car. So I bought another Fiat. They took a while to finally decided they didn't want to cover it. I think they should take some responsibility, as my other Fiat is older and has never had any issues. This one seemed weaker, then died."

    Fiat should take the customer's offer for settlement. A 100,000 mile warranty is a 100, 000 mile warranty, and the customer letting the battery run down shouldn't void a warranty, especially during Covid More...
