Here are the proof of documents which I am referring to.
Toma we just received this claim today and would like to request any documentation of the overcharge you are claiming of $500 because we do not see that anywhere on any of your pay statements. Also we request an understanding of where the claim of $3,000 is coming from. In order to resolve this we need to understand the amounts that you are claiming and where they are derived from. We are currently gathering all email, texts and phone records as well as pay statements and any other documents to gain a clearer understanding of this issue. To label us as committing crimes and bad business practices is not taken lightly as these are serious allegations that will be addressed accordingly.
Reach back to me when you retrieve emails, texts and phone records.

Bizarre and rather guilty-sounding response from Nova Lines - I do not see any reference to "committing crimes" in this complaint. However, no-one likes to feel as if they've been accused of something they didn't do; equally, no-one likes to feel as if they've been cheated (and if a detailed accounting and explanation is not provided after multiple requests, I'm not sure what else the claimant should feel). So assuming that both sides are naturally upset, both sides should put their upset aside and work together for a resolution.
Fuel is pretty easy. That's what, 125 gallons of fuel, which if a truck does 6 mpg is about 750 miles (I am approximating as this is not my field). Gas receipts and mileage, both of which truckers keep records of, will easily prove whether 125 gallons was added on the date it was supposedly added. And if fees were doubled, that should readily show up in the paperwork.
If any charges were mistaken, I suggest the claimant accept a full refund with grace and that Nova Lines improve their accounting procedures.
If all were provably correct, I suggest that the claimant apologize handsomely but also that Nova Lines improve their call-back procedures. Trucking is a hard life, and no-one needs to be worrying about losing money unfairly with no-one at the company caring enough to correct human error.

PeopleClaim is a new way to resolve disputes online without lawyers or mediators. By inviting suggestions from the public, disputing parties get ideas that can lead to settlement – and the person(s) who contributed them can win a reward.
Here's what to do: Read the case (left side of page). Then go to the bottom of the page and enter your suggestion in the space provided. Click the Solution button.
Your suggestion will be sent to both parties and will post on the claim. If the two sides agree to settle based on your suggestion, you're eligible to win. Note: Cash rewards may be split among more than one person if settlement depends on ideas from more than one contributor. If you have a claim of your own to resolve, click here.
You can submit up to three solutions / rebuttal, you would like to settle or to be voted on.
