Statement of Claim
Claimant says:
"I meet once with Ed and sitting in my dining-room he stated "it's the law" in this town that the buyer has to provide a co and tried to bully me into getting a CO. I called 5 listing in the area to find 4 would not apply for a co before there was a solid offer on the table and the other said "they are working on it" The fact is it is the buyers responsibility to obtain a co and he can get a temporary co while any violations are fixed. I was listed with his agency for 6 weeks before I withdrew my house from the market. His sales rep set expectations and then did not meet them. I found disrespect for the client rampant in his office. I fired Ed and his crew for breach of contract. I cannot go into detail here, but I kept a list of items his rep was deficient on. Just my experienced opinion."

Six weeks and the Kate was still trying to schedule a brokers open and an open house. She had a stock answer “we will talk about this later”. I cannot go into detail here, but I kept a list of items his rep was deficient on not to mention her unprofessional business methods. Just my personal opinion.Add your information here

  • I meet once with Ed and Kate. Sitting in my dining-room Ed emphatically roared "it's the law" in this town that the buyer has to provide a CO and tried to bully me the seller into getting a CO. The next day I called 5 listing in the area to find 4 would not apply for a CO before there was a solid offer on the table and the other said "they are working on it" The fact is, it is the buyer’s responsibility to obtain a CO and he can get a temporary CO while any violations are fixed. I had clearly stated I would co-operate fully with a buyer to help him obtain a CO. My house was listed with Kate for 6 weeks before I withdrew the house from the market. Kate set expectations and then did not come close to achieving them. I found disrespect for the client rampant in this agency's office and I fired Ed and his crew for not delivering their promised deliverables in a reasonable time frame. Six weeks and I was still trying to schedule a brokers open and an open house with Kate. She had a stock answer “we will talk about this later”. I cannot go into detail here, but I kept a list of items Kate was deficient on. Also, she promised and scheduled two open houses. She was too busy for the second one and canceled and we could not reschedule. Kate then changed her requirements to “I won’t schedule the open house or the brokers open until you have scheduled a CO inspection. This was not the agreement. The last CO was obtained 1 year and 4 months earlier and I have no idea what all the pressure was about. I say this was an unprofessional business method. Just my personal opinion.Add your information here
