Statement of Claim
Claimant says:
"I have taken my 2007 Honda CRV for regular maintenence since I purchased it from Burt Kuni Honda. On May 5th 2012 I took it for oil a change and ceckup. I was told and in writing I needed new front brake pads right now, that they measured 3mm. to the sensor. On June 21st, 2012, I took it to Brakes Plus in Colorado Springs to get the new brakes. I was told they would be glad to sell them to me but after inspecting my vehicle, they took me to look at the brake pads myself, which measured an 11, and were told they looked new, they even showed me what a 3 measurement looked like and there is not even a close comparison. I contacted Mr. Art Skramsted the service department manager at Burt Kuni Honda Arapahoe, and was told "the kid made a mistake", I insisted this was not a mistake and in return was told I was abusing him on the phone. Then I sent a registered letter to Mr. Herm Brocksmith the general manager, explaining the whole situation, telling him I would like a response in a timely manner, there has been no response. I am sure he or the entire Burt Kuni Honda Arapahoe feels I will go away and that the whole matter is no big deal to a customer and consumer. Burt Kuni Honda Arapahoe gives you repair recommendations in writing, and at the top of their paperwork states peace of mind with their sevice, this is not true, they recommended a safety feature on my vehicle that was totally reconizable in good condition to be replaced. This is consumer fraud from a major car dealer for the Denver and near by cities. I believe this matter needs to be told to any consumer who uses Burt Kuni Arapahoe service department for vehicle repairs, being I'm sure I am not the only one this has happened to. I am one however who can prove that I was not only lied to but was trying to be scammed into paying out false vehicle repairs, and a safety repair at that. I am glad it does not reflect on my Honda CRV, just on Burt Kuni Honda Arapahoe, the management and automotive service employees, shame on them."

  • It does not surprize me that they don't respond, it seems like this is there way of doing business to any consumer customers, who may form a complaint, and opinion, towards there service.
