Claimant says:
"On 9-29-19 the alternator in my 2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee went bad in Hastings Nebraska. I had it towed back to Deshler Ne. for a cost of $254.66 by TriCity towing. I had the alternator replaced at a cost of $641.41 by Deshler Motors in Deshler Ne. I was told the alternator was under warranty so I called Jeep Chrysler recall and they said that it was no problem and that I would be reimbursed. I called the recall department at least a dozen times and got the run around every time. Each time something wasn't quite right on the paperwork I submitted. Such as Deshler Motors only wrote pd in cash and signed it. They said it needed to say pd. in full and to fax the paperwork back to them for at least the 4th time. They said they would contact me thru phone call because they don't email the info. One time after they told me they would call and never did. I called back and they said the case number had been closed and they had to start another one. This run around has lasted for close to a year. After I had the alternator replaced by Deshler Motors they said it had to be a Chrysler alternator and I would have to take it to Erdkamp Motors to have a Chrysler alternator installed. This run around has been going on for close to a year now so I am filing this complaint due to the very poor service I have received from the Jeep Chrysler recall dept."
