Claimant says:
"April 21. I was trying to get logged in to my Chase Bank account.  After two rejections of password, a message flashed up on the screen - Apparently on the Case Login page saying "Unusual activity on this account call 1-866 288 8904).  I assumed this was some sort of Chase security system. A Sarah Jones (Extension 2412) took my call and said that my computer was sorely in need of extra protection, Drivers badly needed updating etc. I asked if she was connected to Chase and she said yes.  She asked to have my peermission to take over the computer and fix the problems and quoted $249.99 for thre years coverage of "Anti Hacking tool, Anti ID theft software, Trojan Eliminator, Network Access Protection, Virtual Banking Software and MS Toolkit.  I agreed but she said she had to turn over part of the work to a specialist, Albert Sentelo (extension 503).  This happened and for the next hour plus the screen was active with pages coming and going etc. The arrangement was that I should send them a check to Broadway Network, 454 Hillside Drive, New Hyde NY 11040 by Fedex the following monday.  At one point I asked Mr Sentelo aboout Chase and he said they were not associated.  I became very worried that Broadway Network had gained access to my computer and goodness knows how much personal data.  I shut down the system,  Called Chase who had not heard of B.N. but curiously did not seem concerned that a possibly dishonest company was riding on their login page.  I have scrapped the computer and put all accounts etc on watch.  I have not sent them any $ and Fedex did not call to pick it up - it is the security of my system, accounts ID theft etc that are the concern.
QUESTION: Can you find out if Broadway Network is a legitimate Company and let me know either way.
I read a similar story about them on an HP support site.  The same details and the same $249.99 price and Fedex arrangement.  "

  • This company has an F rating with the BBB.  BBB has no legal power to do anything to resolve issues.  Try reporting to Attorney General of your state.  I am doing so Friday.  How are they still in business????
