Claimant says:
"On June 11, 2021,I purchase a ford F150 2021 for Max drive Auto from Katie and Brent the manager. I was told the truck need a transmission and they will be fixing it. As I went into the office manager Brent told me "hey you have insurance and if you keep the car for 15days and drive 1000 miles that I can take it to Ford and they will put in a brand new transmission and that's what he would because I will have a Ford professional mechanic working on my car, and he would give me a used one. This worried me because he made it look like his mechanic the was right there in front of him and he's basically not trusting him, so I decided since there're the professionals that I trust them around 4:30 i drove off the lot with the the truck as I pulled up at a traffic light and attempt to cross over the road the car stops in the middle of a four way street and it struggle to make it across, the car behind me had to step hard on the braked not to hit me, i called the sales agent Katie and told her what happen and told her i called AAA and she told me to cancel them and she will have their tow company pick it up, they were about to close and i asked her when they will pick it up she told me in the evening of the next day so i told her that's not acceptable she said the office will close soon. i manage to get the car into a parking lot and i called AAA to pick the car up and tow it back to the shop and i ask for my money back($3000) and they refuse to give it back to me. They all are scam artist and they take advantage of women. They said you help people but they cheat people out of money. I work hard for my money and no one will put down $3000 and then almost lose their life in the process, that car should not have been saleable in the first place."

    Why does a 2021 Ford need a new transmission? I would have thought that it would be covered under warranty anyway. However, I agree with Mr. Maxwell. Claimant should be refunded in full if facts are accurate. This is why used car dealers have the reputation they do.

    This sounds like fraud as well as being very dangerous. If facts given are correct, claimant is owed an immediate refund and an apology; transmission should be replaced before the dealership attempts to sell the car again. More...
