Statement of Claim
Claimant says:
"The house I just moved out of was an agreement of decontamination and remodel for compensation of rent and remainder to be paid by Kathy Foster, controlling/manager/owner, of property. After completing the work, she had the police serve day 3 day "pay or quit" base on false accusations. She still owes over $20,000.00 on the work. I have documentation in the form of text messages, emails and witnesses. I have a written contract she she was suppose to sign but hasn't."

  • Be careful of this man Charles LaMaire, he's a complete rip-off artist. Goes around making false claims for work he never did. If he does do work for you, get his full name, along with his contractors license as he wouldn't provide those to me when requested, it was always a circus trying to get anything out of this guy. I found him squatting on my uncles property along with 3 other guys and 2 dogs. I was told that Mr. LaMaire was a convicted felon and had served time for armed robbery at Folsom Penitentiary. I called Michael several times to have Michael send me photo copies of Charles LaMaires information in which I never received. I don't even know if this is the guys real name or not. He gave me an email address to a company in which I tried emailing and he never responded which made me think, he doesn't truly work for this company. He's a con through and through. Don't let him on your property if you aren't able to check your property daily as he'll move in and squat and then makes false claims about work he never did. Knowing Mr. LaMaire had served time at Folsom Prison in CA, for armed robbery which made me even more suspicious about who he really was as I didn't think convicted felons could poses a General Contractors license. I asked him for an email address, which he responded by giving me this email address: Charles LeMaire charles@jfeconstruction.com. My question, can convicted felons have general contractors license? If he doesn't present you with a formal written agreement done on letter head associating himself to the email address he provided me, don't let him do any work what so ever. Also request to see copy of his contractors license, I couldn't get him to provide me with one. He's a con, watch your back. I only knew of this man as guy by the name of Michael Vessel of Tri State Dry Wall and Finishing, Williston, North Dakota allowed this man on my property to live. Which I never gave him permission to do so at no time, what so ever. Michael said he'd hired him to do work for him and he was good. Its really all I know about this guy. There was also another guy by the name of Jeremy living on this property which I coudn't get any info on either along with 2 other guys and two dogs. All I know is Jeremy was working for a man named Bubba who owned Bubba's Washing service or something like this. I also caught them with drugs on the property as well. Upon researching JFE Construction, Jeremy JEREMY CALLAHAN 2806 23RD ST W WILLISTON, ND 58801-2577 Established Date: Jun 04, 2014 and this could be the same Jeremy, short guy with very short cut almost no hair at all who has 2 dogs, one a pitbull and the other Rottweiler. All these guys mentioned are little con artist. Michael Vessel was a nice guy, but he really over stepped his boundaries by letting these other guys move in.

  • This is to notify you that due to you recent public postings made by Kathy Foster, an additional defamation of caricature and Slander claim will be made available against Kathy Foster on behalf of my company (LeMaire construction for over 25 yrs ) and for personal in the some of ( one million dollars ) I will advise the other 3 people and their perspective companies to do the same. If criminal charges apply, they will be filed.

  • Also I'd like to have a complete description of all work done. I'll compare it to a bid for work I'm currently seeking to have done. Its interesting he'd make a claim of $20,000 worth of work with out really knowing me either. He should have really thought though his bogus accusations before submitting such a claim. If anything this man owes me for squatting on my property for 7 months. So please give me a detailed bid as well as your contractors license, your drivers license as this is what I received from Mr. Vessel before I allowed him to do any work for me. I also wouldn't commit to any thing with out having several bids before starting work. This is a house that's in probate and I have to account for every dollar paid out, so the family knows where their funds are being spent. Its requested by the courts as part of the probate process. This is a 630 sq. ft 1 bedroom home. The only work ever done was painting (paid for), bathroom remodel (paid for) and I keep waiting for dump receipts to for clean up from work that was suppose to be done by Michael Vessel as part of the work that was done on the remodel. Michael never completed all the work that was required and yet I paid him. I still have bulging dry wall panel in the bathroom that was to be addressed and never done either. The painting wasn't done up to par as agreed upon. I requested the paint to be done in a Satin and a Low sheen on the trim. Everything was done in flat paint. Another reason they were all being evicted including Michael, was he was to dispose of all the demo work on the bathroom. Instead it was piled up in the back yard area until I got a call about the junk that was accumulating and all the animal dropping creating a health factor for the little kids living next door as the yards aren't divided by fences. So I told Michael he best get what he promised done and dispose of the junk and trash or he could find another place to live. He lived at this property for 7 months, while there he painted a small house of 630 sq. ft and one wall wasn't even painted at all and a small bathroom remodel and a kitchen that was to have all the laminate panels pulled off the wall, new dry rock put up and instead of the laminate being pulled off the wall, the laminate was mudded over, which was not acceptable by any means. So I've got lots of grievances my self against Michael Vessel of Tri State Dry Wall and finishing. I was trying to understand the texture I never requested on the walls in the kitchen and it was done because it wasn't done right. Its absolutely horrible and he tried to tell me it was the in-thing. With the walls the way they were (texturing) I'm having to pay to get them re-done correctly. So Mr. LaMaire best have all his facts straight and I hope its not for work he didn't do as I'm currently getting bids for everything that needs to be done. With Mr. LarMaire (if this is really his name) should have thought through all of this before making such false accusations in order to tarnish my name. I live in Arizona, so I was taking Mike Vessel at is word for work that was completed. IF I'm able find out where Mr. LaMaire lives, he'll be sued for making such claims. My realtor can also attest to what work that's been done as well. My suggestion is Mr. LaMaire get help for his drug problems and stop playing the poor me con game. Something I'm sure he learned in prison.

    I'm sure Mr. Vessel or Jeremy isn't going to be happy that they were drug in to this situation as well. No one does work with out a signed contract and a formal written agreement of the tune of $20,000. Take your con game and go some where else. Pray I don't find out where you live and sue you for such accusations. Mr. LaMaire also stated he was wanting to buy this house, he said to give him some time to get the money together. I gave everyone 15 days to get the money together and not one of them could do it. Probably another con game to try to keep a roof over his head as long as he could. keep stretching out. I heard all about the big jobs coming up and how they'd be able to get the money together over time. Talk about cons. Charles is supposedly from Montanta, Michael is from Las Vegas and Jeremy is also from Montanta, have no clue who they other guys names are... Who in their right mind would also allow a bunch of people in a house they're trying to get fixed up and sold. Mr. LaMaire also did a great job of trashing up the house so when the realtor would bring people over it would look like hell. She told me she wouldn't be able to go back to house as she felt threaten by Mr. LaMaire. I requested no one be at the property while be showed and they couldn't even give me that curtsy. Feeling really taken advantage of here and all of this is about to blow up in LaMairs face, as I'll be tracking down Jeremy and telling him, he was brought into because of the email address I was handed.

    If anyone feels used and ripped off, its me. As he got 7 months of rent with out having to pay for it and very little work in return.

  • Mr. LaMaire, I'll be turning in your information over to the Attorney General, as you've made claims of doing work with out having a contractors license in the State Of North Dakota. Upon looking for your information you just provided, I ran it and there's no such company listed to do business or a license for the State of North Dakota. Interesting... https://apps.nd.gov/sc/busnsrch/busnSearch.htm I used this site to verify your information and I couldn't find anything under LaMaire Construction of 25 years.

    If anyone else has question about a contractor make sure they're really a contractor. You can contact the Attorney General, Consumer Fraud Laws

  • PS: I should say I caught you Mr. LaMaire with pot. I didn't see Michael, Jeremy or the other two guys at the house with anything. That was the drugs that were on the property.

    Mr. Vessel, does do very good work. Just puzzled why I had to jump on him to finish the work that was paid for. He told me why he hadn't done some of the work as we was planning on dealing with in upon his exit from the property. Jeremy, is someone I don't know either. He never did any work on the property. I only know him by Jeremy and I was able to track a Jeremy down by going to the State of North Dakota and I don't even know if this is the same Jeremy. I tried calling the number on the website associated with the license and it didn't even state this is JFK construction.

    I'm not going to allow you to use coercion like this to try to blackmail me into paying you something I don't owe! So you Mr. LaMaire has certainly stepped in it and I'm using all of this as a means to go after you for criminal charges. I do have your license plate number off your vehicle. It won't take me long to track you down. How dare you threaten me over the phone upon me telling you to get off the property as I had no real business dealing with you. If you had a problem with the formal eviction, you could take that up with the courts. But you had nothing to support your claims. That's probably why you chose this venue, which has basically blown up in your face. Charles LaMaire description. He's tall, thin man, with lot of earrings in his ears, I think he may have tatt's as well on his arm. I can't remember. He's from Montana. Please check out your references to make sure anyone out there doesn't run into the same problem. You should have never attacked me verbally and now I'm going after you. Jail doesn't look good on anyone.

You were never part of any decontamination process either. All work performed on this house was done by a Michael Vessel. To paint entire interior of upstairs house and bathroom remodel. So I don't know where you're coming off as someone who was involved in the painting of this house. Good try you weren't even in the picture until Mike asked you to help him with the bathroom, what ever Michael asked you to do, is between you and Michael. I paid for the work and have the receipt to prove it.

  • The only work that was not done on the bid, was the ceiling in the Masterbedroom. The crack and joint was never repaired. Bid can be reviewed below.

  • payment information on wall and floor cleaning and painting less $1500 towards allowing him to stay on property while doing work and that also went towards the bathroom remodel as well. $1500 towards labor on the remodel for two month.   • Here's the receipt on flooring, walls and paint work as described below, I let him stay at the property instead of paying for a motel, so we took a swap on the labor part and I would pay for materials.

  • I wanted to address this again. JEREMY CALLAHAN 2806 23RD ST W WILLISTON, ND 58801-2577 Established Date: Jun 04, 2014 was brought into this as an innocent by stander. He thought he could leave his dogs at the house while he was in the process of moving. He thought based on what Charles LeMaire had told him, that it would be ok to leave his dogs at the house. Charles LeMaire has actually over stepped his boundaries by telling people they could stay at my uncles home. He had no idea how upset I was until I spoke. He would have taken the dogs, however Charles was trying to work his way into Jeremy's life as a license contractor so he could do work with Jeremy. Jeremy had also told Charles he needed to see a valid license before he could put him to work. Charles basically lied to Jeremy and it created a falling out with Jeremy, as Jeremy was upset to find out not only did he not have a valid license, he was also a convicted felon and wanted nothing to do with Charles either. Charles as done a good job at running a con game on everyone including Michael Vessel. He's lied to everyone and has done a lot of damage with his lies. Jeremy was drug into this as an innocent victim and shouldn't be held liable for any thing. He does have a license and is a real contractor. Its Charles LeMaire who is the con in all of this. Please don't associate Jeremy Callahan with anything that's gone on. He had no idea he was being lied to by Charles and is a victim as well of Charles LeMaires wrong doing.

Bad move on your part Mr. LeMaire . Charles@jfeConstruction.com isn't an address you had the right to give me. Another con game. I contacted the company to let them know you were trying to pass it off as an email to make you look legit. What a con you are. Does it ever stop?

I'm also having to redo a lot of the work Mike Vessel from Tri-State Dry Wall and Finishing from Las Vegas, working in Williston North Dakota and surrounding cities. One coat of paint and no trim work isn't what a call a job done and I paid quite a bit of money to have this work done.. After squatting on the property with all your bodies for 7 months and not paying rent. You get exactly what you put out. Felony record, one of many criminal intent.

    "Charles was a person I had evicted from the property because he was basically squatting. At the time I caught him along with 3 other guys living on my uncles property. I only allowed a gentleman of the name Michael Vessel to live at this property. Upon my surprise visit to ND, I found Charles and 3 other guys living on this property along with 2 dogs. I'd been trying to get this property cleaned up from cats my uncle had. I was beyond upset that there dogs there as well. At that point in time, I ordered the dogs off the property. Guys thought was flying out the next day and I decided to do another surprise visit only to find that the dogs were still on the property. Charles said he'd be willing to give me some estimates in exchange for staying at the property. He text me over estimates however I told him I need this in writing in the form of a written agreement. I'd like to see all that he claims he did for me along with any receipts with purchase of materials. Michael Vessel had hired Charles to do some of the work for a remodel on a bathroom, in which Michael Vessel presented a written agreement and I paid him for the work that was done. If Charles as a complaint about this, then he needs to address this Michael Vessel and not me. Other then that Charles really didn't have in written agreements with me.

    If anyone owes any one anything Charles owes me rent for squatting on property I never gave him a right to do. I'd also like to know the name of Mr. LaMaire's company along with his contractors license. As he never did work for me directly.
