Claimant says:
"Toilet would not flush and bowl was filthy - mgr handed me a plunger - smoke detector not on wall and cover was on TV stand - carpet needed vacuuming - Sheets were questionable not clean - Refrigerator not working as well as the TV selector would not even turn on the TV. Mgr gave us another one with no back on it. AM clerk took me to the maintenance room which was filthy: walls, ceiling, floor, toilet and sink. A well groomed mannerly quiet couple checked out and and also explained issues in their room - unclean sheets and carpet needed vacuuming. He smirked at them too and we witnessed him be disrespectful to them. AM clerk got the manager as we were discussing our issues (quiety and to only each other). The manager came and very loudly said to leave "his" hotel now. He refused to give us his name. He is Very Arrogant, Rude, and crude. As we were packing our cars he came outside and yelled more remarks then gave a gesture as we drove out of the lot. All my years of travel I have never been treated so rudely. At 68 years and all of the Super 8s, we have stayed at I have never be told to leave NOW. We were never given an opportunity to be changed to another room. But after discussing our issues with the other couple and they had similar as we did, another room may have been just as bad. We were already settled, unpacked and extremely tired as these issues were discovered. We travelled over 6000 miles and stayed at many Super 8s with no incidences/problems. Who is the other party. This complaint certainly needs to go to the Manager's supervisor or CEO of Super 8. Thank you for your attention to these issues."
