Statement of Claim
Claimant says:
"I I have canceled my contract with Directv and couple weeks later on December, 21 2016 at 6:21pm I received this call from the “ retainer department “ inviting me to come back to Directv and the person offered me anything he could to make me come back to them. He offered me my old package back, no rental equipment, no contract and the bill no more than $ 53.00 per month. I was happy with the offer so I canceled my contract with Time Warner and I came back to Directv again. Later I found out that my bill is actually $ 104.00 ( and with some “ temporary discount" I pay $ 84.00 for now) I found out that I am in a contract and that everything promised was just lies. I requested the transcription of my conversation and Directv deny my request. I asked them to please “ listen to the conversation that took place since they say that all the calls are recorded” and they refuse to help. I am tired of arguing with Directv. They even put my number in some kind of “ do not answer “ list because for several weeks I was not able to get anyone to answer my calls, it was directed to a voice mail asking me to leave a message … The only thing I really want is to Directv fulfill what was “ offered to me” I did not call them, THEY called me and make all these lies in order to bring my account back under false pretenses"

Companies must make you aware you are being recorded. But the recordings are not kept very long, usually it is for quality and analysis for their employees, not the customers benefit or dismay. I suggest requesting a supervisor and asking for the deal offered. If it was direct TV they will have a record on the note section in their account database and not someone defrauding you and getting the package of their choice. A neighbor for instance. Also they should be responsible if you paid to break the contract with time Warner.
