Claimant says:
"Old West in Vacaville took items from my business to sell on consignment out of their store. The items include belt buckls, bolas, necklaces and bracelets. They went out of business but never notified me that was going to happen. They kept all of my items and paid me for none. I have talked to the manager of the Old West stores in Oakland and San Francisco. They will not give me the name of the person to contact from the Vacaville store. He said he would ask her to call me but she does not call. She has a total of 30 items for a cost of $730. I have papework signed by her when she accepted the items. I can not read the signature well enough to tell what her name is. Is there any way I can get my merchandise back or be paid for it?"

  • Is there a way you can look up the name of the owner/manager of the store from city business, or state business license records? I would start there.
