Statement of Claim
Claimant says:
"The Chase Bank has a Slate Visa Credit card that I have used for several years.

A very nice young man from the Slate Visa Credit card company called me and asked me if I had charged $3,000.00 to my credit card.

I replied that I DID NOT charge $3,000.00 to that Slate Visa credit.

The credit card agent said that he would immediately cancel that credit card and mail me a new Slate Visa credit card.

Two days after receiving that new credit card, I received a letter from the Chase Slate Visa Credit Card Company saying that the new credit card was cancelled.

When I telephoned the telephone number on the letter and asked what was going on, a very rude young lady to me that I owed the Chase Slate Visa Credit Card Company $3,000.00.

I replied that I never charged that sum of money and that I refused to pay for something that I did not do.

She became very nasty with me and told me that I would either pay that amount of money, OR, she would ruin my credit rating. I was so angry that I hung up on her.

Yesterday, 05-02-2018, I received a bill from the Chase Slate Visa Credit Card Company with a demand payment for the $3,000.00.

I NEVER CHARGED $3,000.00 ON THAT VISA CREDIT CARD!

The credit card company is trying to force me to pay for an amount of money that I never charged to the credit card.

Chase Slate Visa Credit Card Company is trying to rob me, because they think that they can bully me into paying for something that I never did.

I have an excellent credit rating, because I always paid my bills on time.

Since the Chase Slate Visa Credit Card Company telephoned me and asked me if I had charged that amount of money and notified me that it was a scam, the company already knew that it was a scam."
