Statement of Claim
Claimant says:
"I was a customer applying for a mortgage. We were sent a committment letter from the company. I went ahead and gave this letter to our lawyer. We then placed a down payment of $15,525.00 to secure the home. It was 3 days before closing and the mortgage company told us that they needed more papers, so the closing was delayed. After we had submitted the papers we were sent a denial letter. This letter was to late because they had already issued the committemet. The sellers put in a claim to keep our down payment. In article 15 of the contract it states that once you recieve the committment you are bound to the contract. The company did not do all of there homework and now we are out 15,000 plus lawyer fees, title search and the inspection. My husband and I have four children and we cannot affort to live and lose that amount of money!!! I will put this on shame fox 5 and every where else that I can file a complaint about this company if they choose not to settle this claim."

A wonderful serenity has taken possession of my entire soul, like these sweet mornings of spring which I enjoy with my whole heart.

I am (not) alone, and I feel the charm of existence in this spot, which was created for the bliss of souls like mine...~ Goethe
