Statement of Claim
Claimant says:
"We listed out motor coach with NMLS after speaking with Hansel Turner, for $299.00 on May 14,2012 with the understanding that we would get our money back if they did not refer a buyer for it by October 19th,2012. During that time we received about 4 inquires, none of which ended in a sale. We also placed the coach on Craigs list and ultimately sold it to a person from California. I wrote Hansel and told him we had sold the coach and asked him to remove it from his listings. He has not done that to date and I have gotten more calls since we sold the coach than we got before October 10, 2012 , the cutoff date for the coupon. II have tried unsuccessfully to speak with him and the service manager. They do not answer their phone but instead I get an answering machine and no return call. EVER

Iam sending you a copy of the letter I wrote to Hansel asking for my money to be refunded and to be removed from their inventory listing. I have called referrals to inform them that the coach has been sold for several months and will no longer respond to those requests for Hansel.

He is a "fast" talker and I fell for his sales pitch - I'm 78 years old and I guess, too trusting. I do feel that he could at least return my calls and REMOVE our listing (#177889) from his inventory. He mentioned that he was on the BBB listing think he deserves a call or a visit from the BBB. I believe is not truthful and deserves at least a call or visit from the Denver BBB.

I thank you in advance for your service and investigation.

Sincerely,

Nancy and Gordon Nitz

  • Thank you for finally removing our coach from your listing. However, YOU did not sell the coach within the 150 days specified in your letter to me with the coupon attached at the bottom. "If your unit fails to sell within 150 days from the purchase date of your ad we will give you a FULL REFUND of the purchase price to you provided you send the rebate coupon below ........" I did all of the above and got no response from you, neither by e-mail or phone. We sold the coach ourselves on Ontober 19th.2013 and I informed you of this and sent in the soupon for a "Full Refund" You did not honor your offer nor did you remove our listing when I requested you to do so. I feel that you owe us our $299.00 since YOU did not sell it by the date specified nor did NMLS have anything to do with the final sale.

  • Today,June 19,2014, I received a phone call asking for information regarding our motorhome. NML has told us no refund is due us since our motorhome was "deleted" from their website The fact remains that WE sold our motorhome before the specified time in their contract and, if the ad has been deleted, why did we receive a call today 8 months after the ad was supposedly deleted?
I feel strongly that we were not fairly dealt with and NML owes us $299.00.
They need to communicate with thier clients,i.e., answer their phones, return messages,be fair up front and HONEST.
