Statement of Claim
Claimant says:
"On behalf of The Baan Taad Forest Temple Charitable Organization, we need your help to contact and demand the shop owner for a refund of the deposit money for purchase of the used stainless steel kitchen sink that they never delivered until we had to cancel the order.

Here is the story

1. The Used Restaurant Equipment company named Guadalajara Equipment and registered for business under LA TAPATIA Mexican Food Inc. at

3. On Tuesday December 27, 2011 we went to Denver and had ordered a used stainless 3-compartment sink for a small Meditation Center project at
7901 Cedarwood Station Road,
Rye, Colorado 80169
at the cost of $400 plus delivery of $100 total cost $500. We gave $250 deposit to be delivered as earlier as Tuesday January 3, 2012 or Friday January 6 the latest.
4. Tuesday 3 we called to follow up and he postponed to Friday 7, said too busy after New Year.
5. We called again on Friday 7 and he can’t deliver it and promised will do it by Wednesday January 11, 11;00 am.
6. Wednesday 11, I e-mail Larry reminding the delivery. He didn’t response then I forwarded to James to follow up. No response.
7. Thursday 12, I e-mail Larry again with Final offer giving $250 more for delivery ASAP so that not to delay the project further and follow up with a call. He promised to have James Covarabias deliver on Saturday 14, 9:00 am.
8. Saturday 14, no show.
9. Sunday 15 e-mail Larry cancel the order and asked for refund check.
10. Monday 16 follow up with a call and Larry said he’ll mail the check out tomorrow Tuesday 17.
11. Tuesday 17, we called to confirm, Larry said the check was sent out.
12. Tuesday January 31, two weeks later still haven’t received a refund check, then e-mail Larry. No response
13. Wednesday February 8, 2012, sent final e-mail to Larry if don’t receive response will not communicate with him anymore. Never heard from him.
14. Wednesday February 15, filed complaint with BBB Denver (case# 75164440)
15. The BBB contacted them 3 times in nearly 2 months without success then they closed the case on April 5, 2012.

We lose hope to get our small donated organization money back and the last hope has come to you. I hope you can help us and wish you the best!

I wish this kind of business practice should be punished for their behavior and our donated money shouldn’t be going to this kind of person’s hand.
