Claimant says:
"Today Sept. 10,2014, I attended an onsite estate auction held by Rivertown Auction Co at 737 Raleigh Dr. They listed pictures of items to be auctioned on AuctionZip website. The auctioneer had an enclosed trailer holding many of these items. Because there were too few people left, he decided not to auction off the items in his trailer. When I complained he told me I could come to next weeks auction in Anyor. Then, he asked me what I wanted and said he'd sell the items to me for $200.00 . This is not what I call an auction!!!!!!!!!!!! Also, there were items left in a tool shed. I said I'd give $2.00. No other bids. He said he'd take $10. I have attended auctions in many different states for over forty years, but never encountered this kind of nonsense. Nothing was announced at the beginning of the auction that all items would not be sold or that there were reserves to be met. The auctioneer also claimed he thought it looked like rain so he didn't want to get the stuff out of his trailer. It didn't look like rain and it didn't rain. I offered him $5.00 for an end table on his truck and he said he couldn't do that. Since when do auctioneers set prices and not take bids?"
