Claimant says:
"I paid for eight repairs to be done on my classic 1940 Ford only four repairs were done. Two of the four repairs that were not done, after being assured they could handle it, the shop is not capable of doing because if lack of experience.
These two unperformed repairs are removing the hood and adjust or replace hinges, then replacing the hood and adjusting it. Also the hood lock was to be fixed so it would lock properly, an attempt to do this was unsuccessful. These two repairs were the most important repairs to be done and was assured by the owner(Mike Jurkovic)that his shop was capable of preforming these repairs. We agreed on a price and the car was brought to him. The owner was going in for a operation and asked for some money so I gave him $350.00 in cash, a week or so later I picked up the car and paid his foreman the balance of the bill $400.00 cash he stated that all the work was done with the exception of painting the door hinges and a few paint chips that would be done in the spring. When I got the car home the hood would not open due to the release cable was installed improperly, after getting the hood opened I tried to close the hood and the lock did not work. Many other issues were done incorrectly that I had to take off the car and take back for repair and paint and then I had to reinstall, something I paid them to do. Now I have to have the car towed in a enclosed trailer do to the hood not locking to a shop that I know is capable of doing the work correctly."

  • First of all no attempt has been made to contact me I have a recorder and no message was ever left, the man is a liar from the beginning telling me his shop is capable of preforming the work properly and the amount of time the work would take. I do not what to deal with this type of person who would throw his customers out of his office because they have a complaint. I will except no less then the amount I am asking, he has my address and phone number. If I do not receive payment by the due date I will take him to court.
