Claimant says:
"I had planed a trip in November bought ticket, bought travel insurance. Had family problem emergency had to cancel trip. refunded money for hotel but not air fare. said flight was no refundable. but give credit of $1064.00 So i went to use credit now there is a $300 dollar fee to book flight on top of voucher. so found flight for $950.00 tried to book flight Talked to 3 different people at travelocity and the price went up every time till know flight is $3000.00 before voucher. so my cost would be $2300.00 for flight listed on web sight for $950.00. They told me it had to be with same air lines (united & Korean). I asked for united's number. Talked with 3 people there price kept going up with every person I talked to. and They say thee is also another $50.00 dollar fee that was not disclosed either. I spent over 6 hours on the phone with both company's much of it on hold. was hung up on twice, and was told to shut up once. Know of the 6 people I talked said the same thing, They all had different story's as to why I had to pay more. United said all I had to do was fly one leg on there air line. travelocity said whole trip. United said if I had bought travel insurance the money should have been refunded to me. I am extremely frustrated. to be fair I did use one cuss word. but was not personal. But neither company has offered any kind of solution to the problem. I told travelocity I will be contacting my lawyer for further advice on this matter."
