Closed. Just beginning. Most of their response is nonsense & we aren't even going to acknowledge it. Had we known that they had only been in busy since May we would have reconsidered. That explains the unprofessionalism. Seeing as the Callahans have made it clear that they will not be giving our money back or finishing the job we will be calling a qualified company to finish the job. Brandon made the comment to my husband that he was going to do the best job ever & it was going to take him about two hours. He didn't even work 20 minutes. If it was going to take that long he was planning on doing the whole house & not just the front. Didn't discuss anything about the driveway. Nothing has been slanderous towards the Callahans. Everything has been the facts. I have never heard of a paid company getting a tip. Maybe if they did a spectacular job but what he did was far from spectacular & running out not finishing the job. Get serious. Our resolution will change since the Callahans have rejected our proposal. We will be asking for our $100.00 back from the Callahans plus what it will cost to have our home powerwashed & any further expenses associated with this claim. We feel this is fair resolution.
We want our $100.00 back from the Callahans, them to pay for a qualified Company to finish the job that Brandon didn't do. They also need to be responsible for any other expenses incured to this claim #1472129-134218 which could include court costs & attorney's fees. The whole matter could have been avoided had they chosen to complete the job as agreed.
"Outdoor Services is a new business that is family owned and operated by newlyweds, Brandon and Parri CALLAHAN. Since May 2014, we have been offering outdoor services to include landscaping, tree removal, and recently, we have focused on power washing homes, decks and driveways. In September of 2014, we entered the neighborhood of John and Deborah Sphar. It was evident that after years of neglect and a certain lack of pride in ownership, the Sphar's white vinyl sided house was consumed with dangerous black mold. As indicated by Mrs. Sphar, Brandon did knock on the door and answered to JOHN. Brandon offered to power wash the home for $200, which was a very fair price for the filth that their home was covered in. From the background, Mrs. Sphar rejected that offer, saying that it was "too much." We too realize that not everyone can afford a couple hundred dollars, so BRANDON and JOHN negotiated a price of $100 to power wash the front of the of the home, and also to wash the front patio and driveway. Brandon sprayed off the front of the house with a medium pressure nozzle. He then used about a gallon of industrial strength JOMAX mold remover (retailing for about $45, and usually lasting for about 5-6 normal homes). Brandon scrubbed the entire front of the house, by hand and rinsed away the chemicals. The mold was so severe, it ruined our brush, which we had to throw away after its first use. Brandon continued to clean the patio and driveway. We left, cashed our well deserved check, and went home. A few hours later, I received a voicemail from Mrs. Sphar. It was threatening and hostile in nature, explaining that she had contacted the St. Charles police department. If Mrs. Sphar was a rational individual, i would have considered calling her husband back, since he was the negotiator, but I don't respond to slanderous threats, and I chalked it up to not being able to please everyone. I was confused because the front of the house looked impeccable. I thought perhaps Mrs. Sphar was disappointed since she couldn't afford to have the entire house cleaned and the sharp contrast for the clean front and disgusting side and back was obvious. We felt slighted since we usually receive a tip for our outstanding performances. Brandon CALLAHAN performed the agreed upon task with pride and excellence. We gave the Sphar's exactly what they paid for. In her complaint, Mrs Sphar, seemed put out that she had to re-write the payment check to the correct person. I would like to warn anyone that wishes to do any services for her: Don't mow her grass, don't cut her hair, and if you can avoid it, never be her waiter or waitress. You will probably get stiffed on a tip (as we did) and you will hear nothing but complaints. To conclude, Outdoor services and the CALLAHANS do not "rip people off." We don't "take the money and run." As proof, upon request, I can provide anyone who is interested with the names, addresses and phone numbers of hundreds of satisfied, and even, overjoyed customers that have used us again and again, and have recommended us to family and friends. If we were in the business of ripping people off, we would use aliases, give out fake phone numbers, and have deal with cash only. If I thought that Mrs. Sphar was a rational person, I would consider power washing the rest of her house when she could afford to have it done, but we wish no further contact, or business with them. Outdoor Services and the CALLAHANS will not offer any refund for a job well done. That is simply ludicrous. At this time, I am also asking that Mrs Sphar cease any and all future attempts to falsely slander Outdoor Services and Brandon and Parri CALLAHAN. Any further attempt to smear the company and family name could result in legal action, since there is absolutely NO validity to her complaint. Outdoor Services and The CALLAHANS consider this matter CLOSED. Thank you."

"Company name Outdoor Services 314-496-2186 They also claim to do Tree Removal, Tree Trimming, Grass Cutting, Bush Trimming, Gutter Cleaning, Mulching, All Planting & Hauling Off Waste. I didn't think I would have to stand over them to make sure they did the complete job. I will never pay first & then let anyone do the job."
