We moved Ms. Queen's belonging on 9/30/2020 from a four bedroom single family home into a storage unit.As is our general practice after each move, our foreman did a walkthrough of the moved belongings with the customer, and Ms. Queen signed a delivery acknowledgement form stating "The above services by Carrier (Name Your Price Movers) were rendered and all merchandise, goods, and items were delivered and received in good condition". This practice was put into place so we can catch any issues during the move. It's our policy to make right any mistakes we make during the moving process, and we handle the claims swiftly.On 4/16/2021, Ms. Queen contacted us stating that while she was moving her belongings out of storage she noticed damage and that we should be held liable. Please note Ms. Queen elected to not use our services to move her belongings out of storage.While we don't believe we are liable for the damage, moving is stressful and we try to do what we can for our customers to alleviate their stress. We sent a contractor at our expense to see if he could fix the damage. When he could not, Ms. Queen created this PeopleClaim complaint.After seeing the complaint, we attempted multiple times to get in touch with Ms. Queen over the phone to discuss. Ms. Queen never picked up our calls multiple days in a row even when we scheduled those calls in advance.We believe we've gone above and beyond what is required in a situation like this. We're considering this matter closed.

Name Your Price Movers wrote a good response--calm, constructive, and understanding of the stress of moving. It is not at all clear who is right and who is wrong in this complaint. A few questions:
Who rented the storage units, and who had the keys?
Does the storage facility keep a log of entries?
Why was a home inspector sent to look at the furniture? Does he have a sideline in repairing furniture?
