Statement of Claim
Claimant says:
"Purchashed a 2001 Nissan x terra and 33 days later the engine came apart while I was at pepboys. no sooner than when I pulled into their shop, Chris a mechanic told me to pop the hood and when he looked down we could see the pully laying on the ground. I called ledgend auto and at first they blew me off until I told them that I was towing it back to them then they sent it to a vpa auto company for repair and the man stated that the engine was no good so since I had a warranty the warranty company paid part and ledgend paid all but 80.00 that I have left to pay. Yesterday I was on the freeway and had to hit my brakes and the truck felt like it would flip over,I called the state Patrol and found out that ledgend autos has a bad rep any way and told me that I could notfiy the bbb and so I feel even after telling them that my daughter would be driving they said that they would not sell me an unsafe car which is clearly not true. I am taking it to a shop for an estimate then I'd like to know where to go from there?"

  • Well guess what now 90 day of having this Xterra and now it won't even start and I just made a payment and paid my insurance and this lemon is just sitting and I am not able to put any work into it cause I have no money and MJ and Hector both told me that this truck would last at least a couple of years. Also I had Nissan in Burien do a safety check and the tires are bald the airbag light still blinks and the shop stated that they are not sure if there is even an airbag in the truck, bearing and bushings are bad. I requested the dealership to undo the deal they made with me but they would not do it. now I am paying for a truck that I can not even drive, I feel like they knew what they sold me and now are just playing games with me and I am really hurt by the treatment I have received and the yelling and hanging up on me.

  • They never addressed all the issues that are wrong and they never did a saftey check because if they had they never would have sold me this truck in the condition that it is in, they told me that this truck would get me and my dad to Montana and that it still had atleast another 100.000 mile on it and to not worry about the air bag that it was ok and it must be electrical duhhhh.
    Any way its cool cause there is more then one way to skin a cat and I hope to see them out of business within the next year, closed and unemployed see carma is a -----.

Message from Legend Auto Sales: Legend Auto Sales cannot guarantee, that a used car will not break down. We have provided a service contract to the Ms. Anderson and helped cover what the service contract didn't cover except for the $80. We went all out to help Ms. Anderson as a good will.
