Claimant says:
"Dr. Keisha Carter (the first of approx. 10 dentists) said my teeth had to be pulled. Much discussion resulted in that. She promised dentures immediately after pulling, said I would never be without teeth. Three years later I am still without teeth. Each dentist in the G. E. (Nanston) corporation has passed me on to another dentist in the corp. I am a type 1 diabetic and this condition is severely affecting my health. Finally I had to file a complaint with the Georgia Board of Dentists. 13 lawyers said I have a malpractice case but dental malpractice is not worth the cost so would not handle. I have been given a quote of $40,000 to have the problem fixed here (but GE won't do the fixing apparently). I don't have dental insurance or $40,000. I have sold everything I own (I'm 65) and am moving to Bangkok to have the work done for $5000. They have physically, socially, mentally (great depression caused by great expression), caused me grief beyond description. A lot of other inconveniences are involved, such as putting 2500 miles on my car driving to all the GE dental offices involved, always seeing a new dentist who said s/he could fix it and then getting sent to someone the first dentist thought would be better in correcting this. Always another excuse or reason for being sent to someone else, until the last office (1 1/2 hr. drive from home) refused to make an appointment or talk to me on the phone."
