Statement of Claim
Claimant says:
"Dear Ms. or Sir, representative of www.BBB.org,

With alarming regularity we receive calls between 12 noon and 2 pm, (this is our retired folks time to have lunch and a much appreciated nap as we arise so early in the am).

Despite pressing "2" to get off their call list, this irritation continues.

  • It definitely a disruption when there is a period of the day where you would prefer not to receive telemarketing phone calls such as these. Because there are strict laws about when telemarketers can and cannot call, calling in the middle of the day is sometimes the answer that these companies come to. In this situation, perhaps registering your phone number with the Do Not Call Registry could help you get the peace and quiet you desire in the middle of the day. That way, if someone does call, you can inform them you are the registry, and do not want their phone call. They must take you off of their telemarketing lists at that point.
