Statement of Claim
Claimant says:
"I ordered 2 products on 11/15/16 as a trial offer. I only paid 4.95 for both to be shipped. Since there were no indicators of being auto-billed or even how much the product was retail, I thought that I would at least get an email to sell me more of the 2 creams or give me a chance to opt-out.

To my amazement, I found a charge to my credit card posted on 11/30/16 for an additional 99.95. What makes matters worse is when I ask about the charge, their customer service advised me that it was too late to reverse the 99.95 saying that by not contacting them in the 2-week period, the "price of the trials" were charged to me at the retail rate of 99.95.

At this point I decided to find where it stated this on the site and was glad my computer recorded the transaction URL because www.beautywrinklereducer.com or www.trybeautywrinklereducer.com by themselves do not work (today 12/15/16), which is where most people would attempt to access.
I did find it - listen to this - in the terms area at the bottom of the page. According to FTC this is not where this type of information should be first disclosed to a prospective buyer. It's clear the company knew what they could slide by and force us to pay this ridiculous price for their products. The perfect hook.
This type of selling should be outlawed. It is dishonest and very misleading and gives the online eCommerce industry a bad name.
Also, I could not find a comment area anywhere on their site.
I am going to file a complaint with the FTC and organizations that will advise others of beautywrinklereducer.com deceptive trade practice."

  • THIS IS A SHADY BUSINESS!  I also ordered a free trial and nowhere did it say that it would be a re-accuring charge and shipment.  (Close to $200 a month) I just paid the shipping of $4.95. I wanted to try this product first.  After being sent an automatic charge and shipment I called this number  (855) 511-1348 and talked to Kevin, I told him I cannot afford this every month and he suggested how about every two months?  So I agree ...But the creams they sent,  burn my skin and I have used these few months with NO visible decrease in wrinkles......so I tried to call back that same number and no one answers but they have a recording that says to email support@beautywrinklereducer.com to cancel further charges

or support@beautywrinklecream.com.  I tried doing that and nothing comes up to help you with cancellations or customer service

THIS IS A SHADY BUSINESS! I would NEVER recommend getting a free trial from them. It is a trap, a very expensive one that I still haven't gotten out of

  • I, too, didn't know I would be sent the products automatically each month. Why is it so difficult to call customer service and I'm on hold for so darn long. I've attempted three times this morning, 7/20/2017, and as yet can't talk to anyone. It's after I give the recorded message my zip code. The # I am calling is suppose to be the (855) 511-1244 number. Their hold, I guess that's what you call it, is weird and you assume that's what it is. Are they that busy? That many complaints? It's ridiculous! Just answer the darn phone. I don't want the product anymore. I can't afford it! I shouldn't have to cancel my credit card just to get them to stop!

  • Hopefully anybody that is thinking about ordering this please do your research first cause they are a total ripoff and when u call them they or rude and just say sorry no refund but will cancel your other orders . But I never ask for another order in fact I was sending this one back it does not work at all the best is no7 so if u tried it stay don't do what I did and go by someone would be truthful cause there not there one of the company's that's just a ripoff, so do a background check before u do your trail.

  • Unfortunately this is a VERY common practice. Canada has much stricter rules about how free trials are offered and how long you have to try products before returning.

Would strongly recommend filing complaint with FTC but current administration is much more likely to weaken FTC than strengthen it : (
