Claimant says:
"Sold our home in Justin, TX. Closed on 18 Nov 13. The realestate agent gave the buyer the contact info for the utilities including Aqua Texas. Called Aqua Source once and tried to leave a msg. to take us off the account. No one returned my call. Called again on 18 Dec 13. Waited approximately 60 minutes to speak to a human being. The purpose of the call was to make sure our name had been removed from the bill. It had not. I was assured it would be taken off that account . It was not. A couple weeks later, we rec'd an 18 day bill for $486.39 and usage was 55,700 gallons. Previous bills for previous months showed zero consumption. We did not have a pool, nor do the new owners. The stone bedrock has put a slow down on it. When I called again, they told me I had not called, which I had. They said the reason the bill was so high is because there was a leak somewhere on our property. Our aerobic tank is only a 500 gal. tank, something should be green somewhere on our property. It isn't either. The house was unoccupied for enough time that bees were multiplying faster than the grass grew and coyoties had become guard dogs, but still not a wet spot on the property. The billing manager said she would look into it and call after the determination as to why and where on or off the property the leak IS. More to follow!"
