Statement of Claim
Claimant says:
"My husband and I purchased a Miracle Mate vacuum cleaner from one of the company's "traveling salesmen" (Mark) on February 7, 2012. We had problems from the beginning in that the power head would short out and stop working.

We took the vacuum to Classic Vac in Meridian ID, but they could not identify the problem.

After repeated attempts by myself to contact the owners, I was told my "Cathy" to send the powerhead to WA and that we would receive a new powerhead.

We did so via FedEx Ground on May 23,2012. After 3 weeks and repeated contact attempts, we received our original l power head back with a note from "Bill" that the powerhead had been fixed. We again had problems with the vacuum and have tried repeatedly for two weeks now to have one of the owners contact us.

We then filed a complaint with the BBB of Washington state on June 30, 2012. They told us they would contact us in 10 working days. They did so asking for 3 more days. It has been almost a month and still nothing from either company."

  • BBB conacted me and said that Superior Systems is now willing to replace the vacuum pieces but not to refund any money as they feel they have done nothing wrong.

    BBB offered to make contact and set up a phone conversation with us and I have heard nothing back.

  • Have responded several times to Cathy about her offer of replacing powerhead after 5 months this is too little too late.

    We had to purchase a new machine to clean my home. Have addressed this with her and the BBB.
