Claimant says:
"We were introduced to Return on Rentals through Zurixx (Success Path) at a seminar in Las Vegas in 2017. They claimed they had turn key rentals throughout the country and were offering them at a 10% discount if purchased through that very day at the seminar. Not only would we get 10% off, we would get a special lanyard showing everyone we purchased a property through them. We sat down with them and they showed us pictures of the property in very clean condition and claimed they had current renters in the duplex, they had a property management company that they've dealt with for years already in place and we would get a minimum of a 10% return. Well...being newer to investing we figured why not. They seemed like they were on their game and after all Tarek and Christina from HGTV showed up so it all seemed legit. Not only did they not do all the repairs that they said, there were no tenants in place, the property management company was hired right before we closed escrow and we purchased this particular property with our IRA's. We cannot sell it. It's a dump. The property management company was terrible. We have just now found a company willing to go in this area to take over. We have lost over $15,000 since this property was purchased, not to mention we tried to sell it for $55,000 and not a bite. We paid $75,000 this property. We tried calling them to take it back right away, they said they would call us back, but never did. Being a new investor, we trusted they were honest."
