Claimant says:
"have sailed with Norwegian,royal Caribbean, and Carnival-so I am a seasoned cruiser. Have not used princess cruises before. Received a brochure from them. read 14 days Hawaiian islands-interior was 1445-now 1299-no expiration date no other qualifying notes,no other notes except fares may increase for taxes and government fees up to 85.00. I called to book and was told that that promotion was not running. It was now 1445.00-explained what I was looking at. She explained that is was probably not running that promotion.(very nice person) called and asked for a manager and was turned to this male that said "we all answer to the corporate managers" explained my complaint "this is a classic bait and switch" no expiration date,no capacity notes nothing-he said to read the very bottom print which reads"princess reserves the right to impose a fuel supplement up to 9.00 to all passengers if the NYMEX OIL PRICES EXCEEDS 70.00 PER BARREL EVEN IF FARES HAVE BEEN PAID. SEE PAGE 36 FOR OFFER DETAILS. He said I should have turned to page 36-I can't see this fine printing except with a magnifying glass. I want to add I've never had a complaint with other cruise lines and would have used them except for this enticing add. My daughter turning 40 and I 70. thank you-Nancye Pederson"

  • This is a timeshare scam. It's cheaper to plan your own vacation or maybe just book the cruise directly on the Bahamas Celebration. I found a website called www.thecaribbeancruisescam.com that explains everything.
