Claimant says:
"Before making an appointment I called their offices (386-671-9015) to confirm their charges.  I was told their service call to determine the problem with my shower would be $95.00 plus charge for any parts needed to repair the turning knob.  They found the problem to be a Stem Adapter.  They did no repairs and said they would order the Stem Adapter and come back to install it.  A real simple job.  However they charged me $270.80, when I ask why so high and that is not what they had told me about their charges, the owner a man name Jimi said that price included the part which would only be about twenty some dollars and their coming back to install it.  So I paid him the $270.80, which was still much higher than their quote!  Then around Jan. 24th Jimi called me the part was in. However, he wanted another $130.00 to bring the part and install it!!!! Wow, a total of $400.80. Part was only $20.00 his charge for a simple job and less than 1 hour total time was $380.80!!!  I told him I could not afford to pay such an extreme amt. And, that I wanted a refund of $175.80 since I was told the initial service call was $95.00. But I could pick up the part and since it was  only a 10 min. job to install it a retired plumber friend would install it for me.  Then he could pay me back the difference of $155.80.  He was also aware that my wife had a recent serious accident with a cast on her arm and hand and needed the shower with the portable shower head to use, since she could not take a bath.  He didn't care!!!  Instead he would not let me pick up the new part.  I then went to his shop and picked up the broken original stem adapter he had taken, so I could maybe order it myself and have it installed.  I met him on this visit and ask again to please give me the new part for my wife's sake.  He would not even answer me, I left.  I want a refund of the $175.80.  I would never recommend this company, the owner's estiamates or his word are useless.
