Statement of Claim
Claimant says:
"They claim you have a sixty day trial, take all info to prepare for a lease, only to know it started with a withdrawl of funds from your business account and by the time you figure out what they have done it is too late. This is a company that has done this under another name. I have tried to work with them reminding owner that he spoke to me telling me himself it is a trial. Then denied ever speaking to me and claimed he would reprimand who ever said that. Last week he admitted talking to me but denied the offer statement. Said he would give me my $900 back by the lease was in force. I was sent one credit card machine and for some reason two pin pads and a check reader to test against one of my two credit card machines. Seeing the diferences after sixty days. Within 48 hours $900 was taken from my account. They record what they want and remove or do not record what they need to. This type of practice needs to be stopped. I have been in business 25 years this is a first for me."

  • Mrs. Bahls was aware she was not on a 60 days trial as her agreement clearly states on multiple pages that she is in a non-cancellable lease for her credit card equipment. Merchant was provided with a verbal quality assurance call that advised her with all terms of her lease agreement and processing rates in which merchant agreed. Merchant was aware during our quality assurance call that an advance lease payment plus an interim payment would be deducted from her account after equipment installation was made. The merchant was also made aware that her lease agreement is held by a separate company (Azura Leasing) and not by TransMerit Merchant Services. We are unable to assist her with this portion of her contract as it is not held by TransMerit. We are more than happy to provide this merchant with the exceptional service that TransMerit has provided to countless other merchants. We have offered Ms. Bahls multiple concessions to her account and even offered to discount her already wholesale rate program to our cost and were denied. TransMerit is still willing to offer assistance to the merchant in regards to her processing program and provide her with the service and program that she qualified and signed up for.
