Statement of Claim
Claimant says:
"I agreed to pay one specific price when I signed up for cable-Internet service with WOW. This agreement was quoted several times and should be on the recording when I signed up for the service. They are now charging me usurious fees and the bill is not coming out to what I originally agreed to. They (WOW) are in violation of the contract I agreed to over the phone when I signed up for the Internet-cable service. As stated previously the price I agreed to pay monthly is (or should be) on the recording when I signed up for service. I agreed to pay $51.99 monthly, they are sending me bills of $99.00. I realize the first month's bill is higher but the other months which I agreed to pay should be between $51.99 and $56.99.

Additional Communication Between Claimant and Knology, Inc., Dba Wow Hide
  • Dec 06, 2016, Knology, Inc., dba WOW (responding party) added:
  • They (WOW) are making false statements, I never did signed up nor agreed to getting a different plan.  They are clearly trying to gloss over this matter.  The initial contract that was made is still in effect, so that their breach of contract still remains.  The matter can be resolved if WOW would stop sending me usurious bills and by making me an equitable and fair offer.     12/06/16

  • Dec 15, 2016, Claiming party added:
  • They, Wow, have now sent me this months bill of $108. dollars, this is after I sent them a payment for last months bill.
