Statement of Claim
"The items I purchased (Astoria VR Headsets) were advertised at buy 3 get 2 free. The advertised price was $29.99 x 3 = 89.97. However, my credit card was charged $145.00. I have called several times and have never reached a human being. I have also emailed and never got a response. The order was placed on line on Nov. 282016"

    Your tracking number from FedEx is 784887893108. Our website clearly states the price for 5 units. 1 unit sells for a price of $59 and we sell 5 for $145. You are receiving 5 units for $145 which is a great deal. If you take the price of 1 unit and multiply it by 5, that normal price would be $295. Congratulations on getting an incredible discount!

  • I agree with comments from all information listed.   I am not going to give up and these crooks and will be following my personal claim until this is resolved.   I urge anyone that has dealings with this company to be very careful.   I have documentation to back every claim I make against them and are current pursuing action against them with CITI CEO.   Hopefully someone will get wise and put these birds out of business.

  • I also will be in on this lawsuit. I have ripped off by this company.  Never received any product and was charged for it!! and forget trying to talk with somebody at this so called company because it will never happen....crooks!!

    I will be filing a claim as well. I was overcharged and immediately upon purchase requested a refund via their support email. I've sent emails have not received a response. I called their customer service #. It is just a recording. Bad company.

  • This is a bizarre second response from the company. I read the additional communication and in THAT response you obviously knew who the claimant is and gave his or her Fedex tracking number. My experience with this site is that you always know who the claimant is even if the public doesn't (I had a complaint filed against me and was able to resolve it lol so I've seen both sides). This response makes it seem like you're trying to snow the people following the complaint.

    If you paid via a credit card I suggest you contact your bank that issued it and report to them what has happened. You will need to give them full details on how you have been defrauded. Your bank should handle it as a fraudulent charge.

  • As I mentioned in an earlier reply I called their number listed at the website 844-602-3983 and received an RMA# from AstoriaVR.  I returned two headsets that I purchased to AstoriaVR 1773 Westborough Drive, Suite 120, Katy, TX 77449.  After a few days I sent a message via their customer service email inquiring as to when I could expect my full refund as promised.  I actually received a response, I was shocked.  A young man asked me via email for the UPS tracking # so he could check as to where my return was in their process and get I refunded.  By the way I shipped those back via UPS at a personal cost of $16.00 and made sure I could receive proof of delivery.  I gave them 5 days to refund my VISA.  When I didn't see it happen I contacted my bank that issued my VISA.  I explained the complete story to them.  I had documented all the addresses, conversations, RMA numbers, phone numbers etc. to the bank.  They teat these sort of issues as fraud thus they backed the funds out and gave me a full provisional credit.  The lesson I learned is to research a product first and check all reviews and not be taken in by flashy advertisement.  DM

  • Yesterday was the first time ever that anyone at support@astoriavr.com ever responded to my email.  One week or so ago I contacted their Customer Service Dept. (844-602-3983) I requested and received an RMA#.  I returned my 2 VR Headsets for a refund last week.  I asked a full refund because the headsets were not compatible with the Android phone that we planned on using it with.  I then sent a note to their Customer Service Dept. to follow-up on when I could expect the refund.  Their response was to ask me what the UPS tracking number was so they could check where my return was in the process.  I'm waiting for the refund now.  I will let you know what happens.

  • This address seems to be someone's home. The company may well be out of China with an accommodation address in the US.

  • It is obvious that this company is not providing a product and service as advertised online during the Christmas season.  The company has failed to respond to any of my emails and i have not been capable of reaching them at the supplied phone number since 12/17/16.

    My wife and I both ordered the same product by accident.  I called to request a RMA number to return one set.  USPS claims that the supplied return address was incorrect when a delivery attempt was made on 12/24/16.  I have no confirmation if they were ever received, no sign of a credit to my CC as of today.

    I filed a complaint after recognizing that i received a product different than what was advertised at their online sight.  They will not reply to my email messages and you can not reach customer service at the listed phone number.


    This can't be a coincidence that everyone has had the same problem communicating to this company.  I am very upset that this kind of transaction can happen so easily without recourse by the government.

  • I received the headsets (before Christmas) in a timely manner.  However, email inquiries to track shipment went unanswered.  I received the units and immediately I found an incompatibility.  My son-in-laws phone would not work due to the fact where the power button is located on the side of the phone.  Once placing it in the cradle of the headsets the pressure from the mechanism which holds (cradle) the phone in place shuts the Power off.  

    I just called and spoke to a representative this morning and was told there would be 30% restocking fee.  However, when I questioned the compatibility claim made on their advertisement they waived the fee and gave me an RA# and stated that I would receive the full credit with 4-7 days.  I will be shipping back when I return home from holidays.  It remains to be seen if I receive the full credit.  Thus far, I'm giving them the benefit of any doubt I made have had.  Dave M.

  • Jeez folks, it is shipped from China!  Relax, I just got mine yesterday.

    Unlike God it is not perfect, but it blew my socks off..

    Bought three and got five and Google wants you to pay three times more for the same thing..
