Claimant says:
"On July 15, 2015 I paid John Powers to replace my 21 year old AC/Heating unit with a new energy efficient unit. His employees installed a unit but the A/C blew HOT air. John Powers had left for a vacation in Hawaii. He seldom answered his cell phone and mostly calls were referred to the voice mail box is full. He is excellent at avoiding calls. Eventually he returned and had someone modify the unit only after I contacted Business Consumer Alliance. The results were mediocre performance. The weeks became months and the heating unit performed fine. Spring and HOT weather returned and the A/C unit blew hot air. Time for the run around began. Twice he sent someone to "fix" my problem with the same no result--the unit blows hot air. Yesterday the owner of an air condition company came to look at my unit. He said a woman called him with a story that it was an emergency; her 91 year old mother was dying from the heat. I don't know who called but he said the unit cannot be fixed because the system had been installed to use Freon and the new unit uses a new coolant. The unit should have been fully flushed before proceeding. I was made to pay him $75 for his service call. I am 84 years old, my sole income is social security. It is quite possible I could die from the heat. Average inside temp has been 86 F."

    Quit hiding from me and live up to your responsibility. Your hired men emptied the unit of some parts then they told me they couldn't contact you. 105 degree weather is forecast by Monday. Where is your pride in a job well done?
