Statement of Claim
Claimant says:
"I purchased a Broadband Modem and a Cell phone from them . Neither one works as it should. Have been waiting since August 22, 2010 for a decision from them on what to do. I also paid for monthly service plans on both and am paid to October 20th, but am receiving no service from the cellphone and little from the use of the modem.The two business names are mentioned because they go back and forth between the two. Cellular one will send you to the corporate office (Cricket) and Cricket will say that it is the problem of the store where you bought it. After 3 trips to the corporate office regarding the failure to work of the modem, I was sent back to the store to get a refund. However the corporate office did not send the serial number of the origional cell phone and so the store said they could not make a refund without that number.Niether has made an attempt to correct the situation by supplying the modems number. When the new one did not work I returned to the store for a refund and was told that because the corporate office did not send the serial number of the origional modem they could not make a refund.Attemps by me and them(Iam Told) failed and that information was never received by the store.The cell phone was taken back on the 2nd day because the battery was not holding. The store replaced the battery. On the 3rd day after battery still failed to hold, a new battery charger cord was given to me.I have been to the store nearly every other day since August 21st because other failed services are on going. They attempt to fix the problem each time but still problems persist.Sound is distorted even the customer service office cannot understand the trransmission.Phone cuts off with fully charged battery when I am on a call.Incoming calls are not hearing my answers. Unable to access services, Messages – cannot open catalog, Serice by your provider,Network connection lost,Feature code not valid, G-mail does not work on VX8800,etc.does not get e-mail or Internet. A number on here from Wells Fargo Bank. Rings approx 6 times a day and no one answers, will not erase. The cellphone cost $259.99 The modem $54.64 the additional plans made the bill a total of $410.18.

Neve(manager) returned my call saying they would contact me in a few days.
