To whom it may concern, or CEO: Chris McCann and Jim McCann, I assume you had time to conduct your own investigation with your phone provider to hear your representative response and feedback while on the phone. also check time and dates with your second party subcontractors that you use for your company. I am willing to reach a reduced Settlement sum of ($8,000) to close this case, only if your offer is not insulting. This Month is my wife birthday April 24th now, I must find a flower company who can help make up for the bad Memories. please respond back to bring this matter to a close.
This 1800flowers case will be viewed on: FACEBOOK,MAJOR SOCIAL MEDIA NET WORK,TWITTER,TIC TOK, ALSO ON THE LOCAL NEWS UNTIL THIS CASE IS CLOSED. LAST RESULT, WILL BE A SCHEDULE COURT DATE AND LET A JURY END THIS CASE.
A dozen roses at the grocery store costs $6-20 and you can see whether they're fresh or not. If it was just about the flowers, it makes far more sense to pick some up at the store. However, it isn't just about the flowers. It's the surprise and pleasure of a delivery; sometimes it's having your co-workers etc. actually see that your partner loves you; it's the sheer extravagance.
The other part of the equation is feeling that your partner doesn't care enough to remember a big day--it's horrible. In this case it was an anniversary AND Valentine's Day. The complainant is 100% correct that getting flowers a day late is like getting a tree the day after Christmas.
1-800-FLOWERS needs to hit its target every single time. Flowers that arrive the day AFTER the funeral, the day AFTER a birthday, the day AFTER an anniversary are an insult. If you promise delivery on a certain day, you have to get it there.
I don't know that $10,000 is a fair ask, but 1-800-FLOWERS needs to make it clear that screw-ups are totally unacceptable and will be amply compensated, or people will lose faith in its business model. Then it won't have a business.
I feel your pain....my wife would kill me if I blew it on Valentine's Day, especially in front of all her colleagues.
As painful and disappointing as this must have been, especially on a special anniversary, I can't support your claim for $10,000. 1-800-Flowers isn't as bad as some flower delivery services, but they'd be paying out billions if they had to give out $10,000 for every delivery they botched.
I recommend asking for something a little more feasible--refunds for your membership and botched deliveries; a gift certificate and/or a large bunch of roses and some chocolates sounds more reasonable to me. 1-800-Flowers?

PeopleClaim is a new way to resolve disputes online without lawyers or mediators. By inviting suggestions from the public, disputing parties get ideas that can lead to settlement – and the person(s) who contributed them can win a reward.
Here's what to do: Read the case (left side of page). Then go to the bottom of the page and enter your suggestion in the space provided. Click the Solution button.
Your suggestion will be sent to both parties and will post on the claim. If the two sides agree to settle based on your suggestion, you're eligible to win. Note: Cash rewards may be split among more than one person if settlement depends on ideas from more than one contributor. If you have a claim of your own to resolve, click here.
