Statement of Claim
Claimant says:
"DO NOT USE DONCOSA IMAGES MICRODOTS!!!! I am a 37 year old breast cancer survivor and lost my hair in the process of chemotherapy. I was completely devistated! I went to the New York office and sat for a consultation after I was done with my chemotherapy treatments. My hair that was growing back was approximately 3 inches long. I felt pushed into a rushed contract signing, with the owner and employee promising beautiful, manageable, long luxurious hair. I was told that I this process was perfect for me and that the best european human hair would be used. In my fragile state against my better judgement, longing for my long hair back to feel beautiful again, I signed a contract that was verbally misrepresented to me. It sounded amazing at the time and I waited for my hair to arrive. After the application of my microdot extentions, I was miserable and desperate. After the first washing the hair became frizzy, knotty, and brittle. I had to go back the following week for a "check up", after washing my hair one time and following the provided and verbal instructions; the entire hair pieces were falling out. I had to have my hair retightened every 2 weeks, it cost a fortune. I kept going back explaining I could not wash my hair as usual, the hair had oxidized horribly, I was begining to get scabs and sores throughout my scalp. I was so depressed, I had already spent over 6 thousand dollars on this product and maintenance. The hair was knotty, brittle and dry!! I tried multile times to get in touch with owners James and Stacey with no response back. James saw me at one of my tightening appointmentes and I raised my concerns to him, his response was to put olive oil in my hair!!! Olive oil??? This company in my opinion is taking horrible advantage of people daily, especially the sickly! Shame on you MICRODOTS, I would NEVER reccomend this process to ANYONE!!!!!! I am seeking legal action at this time. Hopefully this will help someone in a similiar situation...If you are vulnerable and seeking a quick fix this is not it!! The promised years of the microdot process lasted 4 months for me and was a nightmare!!"

    You should be ashamed of yourself for taking advantage of people! I tried multiple times to contact you regarding the issues I had with your branding and was dismissed!I know what the contract states, I can read! This goes way beyond the ligistics of a paper contract signed months prior to my hair application. I was told by Angel and James they were going to be using microdots on my hair and one was placed on my head during my consultation. Unfortunatley the microdots are scarsely placed and the rest of the patches of poor quality hair are sewn to your head! Your contract also fails to reveal to the customer that your own hair in which the mirodots are placed have to cut off when changing the hair! I was promised with proper upkeep my hair would look and feel like my own, which is far from the truth!! Two days after the tightenings my hair was literally falling off my scalp!! The hair itself was such poor quality I was mortified to go out in public!! You can spit out and circle any part of your written contract that you please, the fact remains that I am a dissatisifed customer, in which you blew off personally but ran to the bank with my money!! Your company lacks good customer service! After complaining and being blown off by you for four months, I was asked if I wanted to change the blonde, tangled, oxidized, brittle mess of hair that was on my head, I was not going to my own hair cut off in the process and start the nightmare all over again!!

  • Its a shame that people with special needs for their hair problem they are dealing with more stress and get ripped off. My client Cyndie filed the claim but never got $4800.00 back. Im working now with her and making her feel and look better.
