Claimant says:
"I took my truck to Firestone for repairs on October 5, 2015 because I was unable to put gas in my 2006 Mercury Mountaineer without the gas plumb cutting off. I paid 481.33 only to have the same problem reoccur 2 months later (December 24, 2015). I Strongly believe that the problem was misdiagnosed. They informed me that Ford had provided them with a TSB code 07-25-3 and suggested that I contact the dealership for compensation of the problem. After speaking with two Ford representative, who informed me that after researching my 2006 Mercury Mountaineer there were no recalls or problems with the gas line and that the TSB code is a Bulletin that is send to repair shops to assist the mechanics in diagnosing the problems. I find it hard to believe that Firestone wasn't aware of the usage of the TSB code, instead they decided to mislead me to believe that the problem was with the dealership.

After contacting Firestone with the information I were given, I was told that since Ford wasn't taken ownership of the issue, for me to bring my truck in and they would go ahead and repair it, only to have them call me the following day stating that it would cost me additional 400.00 for repair an labor. What a waste of my time and money.

I am attaching a copy of my receipt from the previous repairs along with a copy of the diagnosed and a copy of the TSB report"
